I can't wait until the snow clears and the sun comes back out because it's getting way too dark for pictures :( This morning I woke up early and went to IKEA to battle it out for two dining chairs. The chairs had been sold out since September, and we needed two more to finish our set. Thankfully we were able to snag two more and now have a complete set and can actually have people over for dinner. *Angels singing*
I also stopped by Billings Bridge to grab some pieces to shoot and write about for this Thursday's post on January sales finds. Since I was basically just running a few errands and have no plans for the rest of the day, I went all out grunge... head to toe. I'm wearing an acid washed grey denim tunic top I received from my Mom for Christmas, my leather panel leggings from Zara, skulls and crosses bracelets from Aldo, and my lace up studded boots from Steve Madden.
Next time I wear this top, I think I'll belt it and wear it with thinner leggings to give me some more shape. I think it would also look adorable with my low heel studded ankle boots or even my go-to suede pumps in black from Nine West. I'm
so glad to see that denim pieces are here to stay - at least for 2013 - because they're incredibly versatile and a staple in most Canadian women's closets!
