How to Style: Faux Shearling Coat

I just logged off from hosting an hour long Q&A webinar with my favourite (and the only one I actually know) celebrity makeup artist. It was incredibly fun and I'm so glad I get to do things like that for work. I'm lucky! I figured I should get a new post up since it's been a week and I'm sure you're bored of seeing the same post whenever you check back.

This faux shearling drape jacket is another piece I was sent form US Trendy. You can see the first post I did featuring an item of theirs here. I love the coat because it's so big and fluffy. The only downside is it sheds a little bit, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by a quick once-over with a lint roller every now and again. Did I mention it is so fuzzy and warm? I wish I was wearing it last night when my car wouldn't start due to the cold and I was stuck in my office parking lot for an hour after the day ended.

I'm sick with a cold (go figure) and want to curl up all weekend with endless cups of hot tea and just watch movie after movie on Netflix. I mean, that sounds like a pretty good weekend whether you're sick or not... right? ;) I'd love to get a new video filmed for my YouTube channel sometime this week, too. I was thinking of either trying an outfit video or opting for the typical "50 things about me" tag video since I'm really not a pro at filming yet.

Anyways, I've got a bit of running around to do so I'm off! I recently redesigned the layout of the blog to be much more minimalistic so I can really just focus on the photos and sharing my outfits with you rather than all the extra stuff like a flashy header and crowded sidebar.
