I apologize for chopping off my feet in these photos - didn't realize I had done that 'til it was too late! This is a simple, everyday outfit in my books. I love the top's beaded neckline and how soft and sheer it is. It will look great paired with my quilted leather Zara Basics skirt (will post about that sometime this month) but also goes well with jeans. Like almost any other jean-wearing day, I'm in my jeggings from Old Navy. I really need to find a new pair because they're starting to fall apart!
Last night we had some friends over to help ring in 2013 and had a blast. I haven't had that much fun in a while - or stayed up that late - and am trying to get this post up now before Kyle and I run out to brunch (OK I guess it's more of a lunch at this point). I can't believe the holidays are now over and we're all back to work tomorrow. I'm not ready! I won't be doing a NYE round up post or anything like that but you can check out my Instagram for some pictures. Basically, we listened to records, played Catch Phrase (gets progressively funnier the more you drink), and ate and drank the night away.
I hope you had a blast last night with whatever you got up to. My blog's birthday is in a mere three days and I can't believe it's one year old. I'll be doing a post (and possibly a giveaway) this month to celebrate. :)

Thanks Nagmeh!! It's some sort of balm that's more highly pigmented in colour than normal. It works fantastic and is incredibly moisturizing. I'm guessing Mom picked it up at Shoppers!

DeleteYes, they're from Old Navy! In all fairness, I got them about 2-3 years ago so I doubt they still have them but I was incredibly surprised at the quality. They fit really well and are just as comfortable.. and were only $40. Once in a while Old Navy surprises me. Hopefully they bring back something similar soon!
