If you follow me on Twitter, you may have read a rant or two about how much I love my new face wash from KORRES. Now that I've gotten around to taking some photos of the products I've been using, I can actually tell you  more about them. For those of you who haven't heard of the brand before, it's actually from Greece and offers a variety of yogurt and milk-filled treats for your face and body. KORRES is sold at Sephora, Shoppers Drug Mart, Ulta, and other stores internationally. I've seen a few KORRES products here and there over the last year, but never stopped to find out more about the brand. I tend to get into ruts and use the same products over and over, all the while missing out on something so much better.

The face wash I've been going on and on about is the Milk Proteins Foaming Cream Cleanser. It says it's for all skin types, which means it normally won't work for me as I have ultra sensitive skin, but it's amazing. The thing I love most about this product is it actually removes all my makeup - even waterproof mascara and liner - but is soap free. It has rich milk proteins, essential amino acids, willow bark extract, and honeysuckle flower extract in it, which all come together to make a seriously calming and effective wash. I've been using it morning and night and know this is my new staple facial wash. It retails for $26, which is on-par with other Sephora-type face washes, but you only need a teeny tiny bit to get the job done so you'll actually your money's worth.

To go along with the face wash, I've also been using the Yoghurt Instant Soothing Gel. It's a skin calming, moisture boosting gel and feels absolutely amazing after washing with the Milk Proteins cleanser. Since my teenage days when I dabbled in Proactive, and a few months back when I gave Neutrogena another shot, this is the first in a long time I've actually used two facial care products from the same brand or line. My skin has been super dry on my chin and around my nose, so the aloe, oat, and prickly pear in this gel are cooling and calming. Plus, they add moisture to my skin and help heal dry patches as quickly as overnight. Love! The soothing gel retails for a slightly heftier $49.50. I'm considering using this only when my skin is extra dry, and alternating with my regular moisturizer from Origins, since it's a smaller tube and higher price point. If you can handle the price, it really is an effective product.

Lastly, I've tried out the Moisture Boosting Yoghurt Body Butter a couple of times this week and already plan on getting this for at least one person on my gift shopping list. I get eczema on my elbows, hands, and knees - especially in the winter - and this is specifically geared for those areas. It has yogurt, shea butter, sunflower oil, almond oil, and avocado oil. Retailing for $33, the body butter has what I consider a "normal" price tag, particularly for products sold at Sephora.

I was sent these products from KORRES Canada and they also graciously offered to provide an identical package of goodies for one of my readers. So, it's giveaway time yet again! I apologize to all my readers outside of Canada, but want you to rest assured I'll have a giveaway for all of you coming early in the new year. 1. Korres products are truly great! I bought quite a few Korres products when I visited Greece in Summer this year. I truly fell in love with them.
I'm sure the lucky winner will love them too. I wish I'm in Canada to participate =)

  2. Ha I don't really have any good winter skin care tips, other than moisturize 24/7. Also, if it's SUPER windy/cold outside, (-20degreee weather), I'll put a ***light*** layer of Vaseline on my cheeks and lips, since I get windburn really easily. Vaseline acts as a shield.

  3. Yay I love Korres! During the Winter, moisturizing is definitely my number one. I can get away without moisturizing some days in the warmer months but definitely not Winter.

  5. This sounds silly, but my skin is very dry so I'm always careful to trap some water under my moisturizer. I pretty much put it on without drying my face off at all and it really helps. :) Great giveaway Katelyn!

  10. Use a thicker moisturizer in the winter to avoid flaky skin. In summer its fine to use the thin water based ones but in winter I definitely need a creamier one morning and night to keep my face glowy and it makes makeup look better on top too!

  12. In the winter I mix the contents of a capsule or 2 of vitamin E 400 IU capsules into my moisturizer for extra richness.

  13. I use a heavier daytime moisturizer during the day and it keeps my skin well hydrated and not dried out from the cold winter weather

  14. I've got such troubled skin in the winter! I'm prone to acne so my summer routine of using a benzoyl peroxide totally dries my face out in the winter! So I have to moisturize LIKE CRAZY! I like the Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion!

  15. My biggest winter skincare tip is thick moisturizer (I like Aveeno) combined with a body scrub to exfoliate dry skin (I like LUSH Ocean Salt).

  16. I used a night cream during daytime hours. I find it's a stronger barrier, which means less damage.. RIGHT?? Just don't look greasy.
