Song of the Day: Heilige Krieg / Werkraum
1. Rusk Thermal Shine Spray*
Unlike some shine products, this one offers a lot. It protects your hair and locks in shine during the heat styling process, adds body, and leaves your hair manageable but smooth. One of my biggest pet peeves with freshly washed and dried hair is how soft it is and how easily it loses its style or slips out of a pony tail. This Rusk product helps you hair keep its natural texture but makes it better. I was gifted this winter must-have by Trade Secrets and seriously recommend you pick a can of it up. Our hair is in for a beating this winter with all the parties over Christmas and New Year's Eve, not to mention the vicious wind outside!

2. Bumble & Bumble Hair Undressing Creme
I already posted about this here, but I'm seriously in love with this texturizing cream from Bumble & Bumble. I did, unfortunately, have a disaster one morning when I used way too much but have since corrected the amount I use and think I've now got it nailed down to a science. This cream makes your hair a little gritty, gives it a boost in the body department, and gets you one step closer to Cara Delevingne's to-die-for locks.

3. Jacob Classique Perfume
I worked as a sales associate at Jacob during university and was always the employee spritzing the store with the "Classique" perfume, though I never got around to buying a bottle for myself. Four years later I finally did it! They've changed the bottle since I worked there (it's much nicer looking now) and I even grabbed it at 40% off during Canada's attempt at Black Friday. The warm notes in this perfume make it perfect for this time of year!

4. LUSH Popcorn Lip Scrub
I reviewed the Mint Juleps lip scrub from LUSH back in February and just now got around to buying a second - this time the "Popcorn" flavour/fragrance. It's a little saltier tasting than Mint Juleps but is just as effective and I think I may like it even more. It's a very gritty scrub and helps slough away any dry, dead skin on my lips. In my opinion, a LUSH lip scrub is an absolute must have during winter.... and anytime of the year really.

5. LUSH Imogen Rose Gorilla Perfume
I've always been curious about the LUSH perfumes, since I'm an absolute LUSH junkie when it comes to anything else, and decided to give one a go. I grabbed the gorilla perfume stick in "Imogen Rose" and figured I'd keep it in my purse to use whenever I forget to put on perfume or feel I need a little refresh. The thing I love most about this perfume is that it's a real rose scent. It's a little bolder and deeper than the sugary floral scents a lot of other fragrances have. Plus, it's a solid fragrance which is something I've never tried before. All in all, I'll be buying it again!

6. Kona Kare Essensual Lip Butter Balm*
I love handmade products (and independent businesses) so when I was sent two lip butter balms from Torono-based Kona Kare I was excited to try them out. I've used both "The Original" and "Peaches & Dream" and am really happy with both. They're much thicker than something like Chapstick and are made with all natural ingredients, like Tahitian Monoï Taré oil. The effects of the lip butter balm are especially noticeable when used immediately following a good lip scrub.
