Beauty Review: OPI Germany Collection

Song of the Day: Red Tide / Neko Case

OPI's Germany Collection is taking the beauty world by storm and only further proving what we already know - that this season's hottest accessory is nail colour. It's very rare I'm disappointed by OPI, and their Germany Collection is no exception. There's something interesting about each shade included in the collection, and each has that signature OPI lustre and finish one would hope for.
Don't Pretzel My Buttons* / Don't Talk Bach To Me* / Danke-Shiny Redt*

I've got to try out the three shades above, and would have to say Don't Pretzel My Buttons is my favourite of the three. It's a warm honey beige hue and gives me a classic, natural feel. It's the perfect polish for work, or when you're looking to keep it low key. Right now, I'm nursing my nails back to health after they turned brittle and peeled on me, so a neutral polish helps to keep them looking clean without drawing too much attention to how short they are. I miss my long nails!

My second favourite is Don't Talk Bach To Me. I love the polish name, and the yellowy green colour. It's not quite a dark yellow, and not quite a green - like I said, it's interesting and isn't a shade you can easily find a dupe for. It really pops against black or grey, so I've found myself wearing this more on the weekends when I'm dressed a little more casually but want to amp up my outfit just a little more.

Lastly, there's your regular high shine red. I'm more a fan of matte red polishes, so this one isn't totally my taste. That being said, it's a good polish for the holidays and I have actually worn it twice over the past month. If you like red polishes and want a little something extra for an upcoming Christmas party, this polish would be an excellent choice. My only advice would be to make sure your hands are moisturized and kept in good condition because this colour demands attention!
