Beauty Review: Vera Wang Lovestruck Floral Rush

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

Notes: Champagne, Pink Pepper, Apricot Blossom, Pink Passion Flower, Marigold, White Freesie, Ambergris, Musk, and Cashmere Wood.
Style: Light, Floral, and Youthful
Price: $68 for 1.7 oz

Vera Wang's Lovestruck Floral Rush is a new addition to the VW lineup. I'll be honest and say, right off the bat, I'm not a huge fan of the fragrance. I like floral, but it's a sweeter floral than I think I could handle on a regular basis. It's not horrible news, however, as this means one lucky reader is going to receive the full sized bottle in my October fragrance giveaway. :)

The bottle is really cute and would make a lovely addition to the top of your dresser. Unlike some fragrances I feel I need to hide in a drawer because of the less than attractive bottle, this one is fun and feminine and the actual fragrance looks very similar to Vera Wang Princess.

The price for this perfume is great. It's priced at approximately $68 for 1.7 oz, which is nearly 50% less than what other luxury fragrances cost. The exact price will differ depending on where you're located, of course, but it's reasonable enough to warrant a purchase if you're a Vera Wang fragrance fan. Stay tuned throughout the end of September for a couple more fragrance beauty reviews and to see what else I love and what else I'll be offering up to my readers. Just because something isn't "me" doesn't mean it isn't "you"!

  1. I'd love to give it a try. Could this pass as a seasonal fragrance? Are the Musk & Cashmere Wood really detectable? I'd love it if they were ;o) xo <3 Ciao Bella

    1. The musk and cashmere wood aren't overly noticeable, no. It's primarily a floral fragrance in my opinion! I'd say it's more of a seasonal fragrance than year-round but - perhaps - better suited to winter rather than fall. I'll let you know when the giveaway commences!

    2. Thanks Katelyn. I'll keep posted for other fragrance reviews! Thanks for the the good info! (Looking forward to hearing all the reviews, and especially the ones that seem to suit you most & you decide to keep.) Do you have a signature fragrance? Have you ever had one? I'm too fickle & love to change with the seasons (obviously), my mood, & the occasion. ;o) <3
